Buttercup Nursery
Buttercup Nursery is a preschool for children aged 3-4 years; it is based on the school grounds of Meadowside Primary School. Our aim is to provide children with high quality care based on sessions of a school day, allowing children to become ready for school. Our team gives children a fantastic insight into school life. The children use the school hall for P.E and are involved in various school celebrations and events. The Buttercups embrace the school values within their learning experiences with their teachers and peers. Our stimulating environment will allow children to learn and grow through their play into independent and confident learners, giving children the best start to school life.
The staff within Buttercup Nursery are experienced Early Years Practitioners who are very passionate and enthusiastic about the early years. The nursery team consists of Miss Hover, Mrs Perkins, Mrs Crane and Mrs O'Brien and Miss Moore.
Your child’s nursery teacher will be their key person throughout their nursery experience. This is to ensure children and parents form a secure relationship, which enables us to work together to give your child the best possible experience. Tapestry is used to share observations with parents and is linked to The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Parents have access to this learning journal too.
